LUCKNOW: BSP leader Mayawati will cope with a rally in Azamgarh, the parliamentary constituency of SP patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, on Tuesday to galvanise supporters from a minimum of 11east UP districts, including Varanasi and Gorakhpur, ahead of the approaching city local bodies elections. BSP sources stated that Mayawati will use the rally to assault combatants, basically the BJP, whilst attempting to strike a chord with her par ty's core vote bank -the Dalits and the most backward classes (MBC) -which account for over 40 in line with cent of the region's population. I The BSP leader could also be expected to woo Muslims, who're in sizeable quantity in Azamgarh division comprit sing districts like Mau and Ballia. Speaking to TOI, BSP nationwide common secretary ( Satish Chandra Mishra stated r that the rally will be the birthday celebration's display of strength in the region. "People are feeling cheated by the present BJP dispent sation and are looking for alternative," he stated.
Party sources stated that the f rally venue, Rani Sarai, has been strategically planned -it is located in Azamgarh Sa dar meeting seat which was once gained by means of SP's Durga Prasad Ya dav and lies on the border of Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of PM Narend ra Modi. Political professionals stated that east UP is politically im portant for BSP as it gained 14 out of its total 19 seats from this region only .
Mayawati goals to hide the three divisions of Azam garh, Varanasi and Gorakh pur, having a total of 77 as sembly constituencies of which BSP had gained 5 -four in Azamgarh and one in Gorakhpur.In the remainder 72, BSP confronted a humiliating defeat by the hands of its rivals, basically the BJP."Party supporters will reach the venue on their own. We hope it will be a good show. Yahin se parivartan hoga (Change will begin from here)," stated BSP MLA from Azamgarh's Mubarakpur constituency , Shah Alam, aka Guddu Jamali. Significantly , the BJP which stormed to power with absolute majority in UP may win only one seat from Azamgarh.
