NOIDA: A devoted body at the traces of New Delhi Municipal Corporation can be created to handle civic issues in Noida, MLA Pankaj Singh stated on Monday. He was speaking to TOI after a seek advice from to a number of residential sectors like 49, 51, 52, 44 and 93 during the last few days.
"The main issues in most sectors which I visited revolved around cleanliness, garbage disposal, blocked sewers, encroachment, broken roads, security etc. I have had talks with Noida Authority officials as well as RWAs on these issues earlier also. A municipality on the lines of NDMC needs to be created for Noida. I had raised the matter in the three-member group of ministers and also with chief minister Yogi Adityanath who has taken a serious note of the issue and assured action. I'm confident that a dedicated structure like a nagar nigam will be formed soon to address civic issues of urban and rural areas," Singh stated.
On the issues of cleanliness/sanitation and site visitors/encroachment, Singh stated two committees of three members each and every below Noida Authority CEO Alok Tandon and divisional commissioner, Meerut, Prabhat Kumar are anticipated to publish its file soon. "Encroachment is a big issue and a long-term solution in this regard will be addressed through a dedicated vendor zone to be decided soon. Also, specific authority officials as well as police stations will be made accountable," stated Singh.
Singh assured that he is working on one way to make sure a set day for interplay of citizens with district Justice of the Peace, SSP and Noida Authority officers in Noida.
Sujit Pandey, president, RWA, Express View Apartments, Sector 93 called the assembly with MLA Pankaj Singh a historic interplay in keeping with PPT presentation by means of citizens to the MLA.
