CHARMINAR: Overflowing drains and unhygienic prerequisites continue to create issues for citizens of Parnipura, particularly in Karwan constituency .
The callous attitude of the government involved has best added to the woes of the citizens. They say failure on part of the government to give a boost to dwelling prerequisites in the locality has made their existence miserable.For the past one year, grimy water has been flowing proper outdoor their homes, forcing them to reside in the dangerous surroundings.
The lane main towards Gulshan Masjid and Jiyaguda has turned into a cesspool because of continuously overflowing drainage water. Passers-by and motorists heading towards Gulshan Masjid, Sabzi Mandia, Kamela (slaughter space) and Jiyaguda have to encounter the cesspool on every occasion they go thru this locality. At times, motorists are even forced to take a detour to reach to their destinations.
"Though drainage traces had been wiped clean by means of workers of the concern division, the situation on this locality hasn't modified. The involved government didn't take any corrective measures or initiatives to eliminate our issues. We have introduced the topic to the awareness of native leaders and officials continuously , but our efforts have proved to be futile. Nobody has come forward to deal with our difficulties,'' Majid, a local resident, instructed TOI.
The overflowing drainage water and foul odor emanating from it has forced the citizens to stick indoors. One of the citizens instructed TOI that they even cannot leave their vehicles outdoor because of the grimy water overflowing in the lane.
"Neither are we able to stand out of our homes for lengthy, nor are we able to let our kids go out to play .The state of affairs turns worse throughout monsoon. Such unhygienic prerequisites are causing a large number of inconvenience to the entire commuters passing thru this side road,'' said any other resident Minhaj.
