"No one can imagine how I feel when my childhood dream has come true."

We changed the policy and made the terminal and did the dredging. Now, the operations will be handed over to the private operator and government will be partner in profits," the PM added.
Recollecting the maritime history of Gujarat, Modi stated that the history of human civilization illustrates the vitality of rivers and maritime industry. "Gujarat is the land of Lothal. A similar project is also in preliminary stage in the Gulf of Kutch for connecting Jamnagar with Mandvi," the PM stated.
He slammed the UPA executive for not specializing in ports which can be gateways for the rustic's building. "Sadly, our transport sector was not integrated enough. We have changed that in the last three years. The goal is to make our transport sector integrated and state of the art."
