US cops arrest father of missing Indian toddler; body still not identified

HOUSTON: Wesley Mathews, the daddy of missing three-year-old adopted Indian woman Sherin Mathews has been arrested, a day after frame of a small kid+ was present in a culvert, lower than a mile from the family's home.


Sherin Mathews+ , who has developmental issues and restricted verbal communication skills, was closing noticed outside her family's yard in Richardson town in Texas on October 7 after her Indian-American father Wesley Mathews upbraided her and despatched her by myself outside late at night as a punishment for now not finishing her milk.


Wesley was arrested closing night and faces fees of damage to a kid, Police Sgt Kevin Perlich mentioned.


Yesterday, Wesley and his lawyer voluntarily arrived on the Richardson police station and shared a distinct account of the girl's disappearance than his original commentary, Perlich mentioned.


"He provided an alternate series of events from what he had previously given us," Perlich mentioned.
