NOIDA: A 62-year-old guy used to be murdered via unidentified males at an under-construction website online just about 200 metres clear of his place of dwelling in Sarfabad village on Sunday morning. The body of Pankaj Kamti used to be found in a pool of blood with an iron pierced thru his neck. According to family members, the murder may have taken place between 5am and 7am as he used to be found in the house earlier than that.
The sufferer lived along with his son Dilip Kamti (35), daughter-in-law Babita Devi (32), and three grandchildren - Gaurav (eight), Saurabh (7) and Gunjan (five) — in a rented accommodation. The family at the start belongs to Darbhanga, Bihar and so they had shifted to Noida two years in the past. Both the father and the son used to pressure auto rickshaw within the town.
The owner of the house, Lakhan Shah, lives within the neighbouring bungalow. Babita mentioned the family had moved to Shah's one-room area two months in the past. "Due to lack of space in the room, my father-in-law used to sleep in the basement of Shah's bungalow. On Saturday night, he went to sleep there after dinner as usual. I visited him around 5am and found him there but when I sent Saurabh around 7am with morning tea, he returned saying that his grandfather was not present there," mentioned Babita.
Since Kamiti did not have a cell phone, the family members launched a search.
Meanwhile, any other villager discovered Kamti lying in a pool of blood at a three-storey under-construction website online within the village. This website online owner Shankar Yadav lives within the neighbouring area.
Shankar's brother Mahendra Yadav mentioned the development work began 12 months in the past. The building is nearing finishing touch and a few plaster works are yet to be finished. "My nephew Ravi came to this place and found the man lying in a pool of blood on the ground floor. He then informed police," he mentioned.
Arun Kumar Singh, SP (town) Noida mentioned that a case for murder has been registered towards unknown individuals. "The family has not named anyone. We suspect personal enmity could be the reason for murder. We are investigating the matter," he mentioned. The body used to be sent for post-mortem.
