Businessman shot at in a robbery bid, Rs 4 lakhs looted

GURUGRAM: A businessman used to be shot at in a theft bid on Saturday evening. The incident came about in in Old Gurugram when the victim used to be in his way back home.

The victim used to be sporting Rs four lakhs with him which were robbed by way of the assailants. The victim has gained bullet harm within the leg, and has been hospitalised.

Victim Ravinder Singla, 52, owns a trade of ghee (clarified butter) in Old Gurugram's Sadar Bazar area. He lives in Civil Lines area together with his family.


On Saturday evening, he shut his shop and left for home. Singla used to be sporting Rs four lakh with him which he wanted for the trade.


He used to be headed home on his scooter, when three males began following him on a bike. The bikers compelled him to prevent the scooter close to Barf Khana area in Old Gurugram. They flashed a gun at him and snatched his scooter and the money from the businessman. When Singla protested, one of the vital guy shot him in the correct leg and he used to be shot close to the ankle. As Singla fell down on the road, the robbers fled the spot.


A passerby knowledgeable the police concerning the incident and law enforcement officials took the victim to the General medical institution in Civil Lines. His condition is said to be stable, and below remedy at the medical institution.


"We have registered a FIR at Civil Lines police station under sections 394 (robbery), 397 (Robbery or dacoity with attempt to cause death or grievous hurt), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) IPC and 25-54-50 Arms Act on the basis if the complaint filed by Singla," mentioned inspector Narendra Singh, SHO, at Civil Lines.
