GURUGRAM: A 52-year-old businessman was shot at and robbed of Rs 4 lakh via three assailants overdue on Saturday.
The businessman, Ravinder Singla, was returning house from Sadar Bazar when the trio came on a motorbike and forced him to stop. When Singal resisted, one in every of them shot him in his proper leg and fled the spot together with his scooter containing the money.
Passers-by informed police and Singhal was taken to the clinic. "An FIR has been registered," stated inspector Narendra Singh, SHO, Civil Lines. The police don't seem to be sure if this was a targeted theft or a scooter snatching case.
