Tirupur: By December, the goods trains attaining Tirupur Junction is not going to need to halt at platform one, the place passengers trains prevent, since the Salem department of southern railway has hastened the work of connecting items train observe with the main observe at the junction.

A group of technical officials has visited the station and a chart has been ready for executing the work, which was formulated more than a decade in the past. The group integrated officials from overhead equipment, signal and observe maintenance.


"When the work for linking the tracks starts, the goods trains cannot be received at the station. Since it will take a week for completion of the work, the discussion is on to find an alternative. The railways have planned to execute the work in December," the legitimate stated.


The separate observe for items trains in the junction is hooked up with the parking facility for trucks, which eases the transfer of products from boggies to trucks.
