BEIRUT: Lebanon's Prime Minister Saad Hariri said early Saturday that he was once heading to the airport in Saudi Arabia, the place he is anticipated to leave for France, two weeks after stating his resignation from the dominion and sparking speculation that he was once forced to take action.

In a series of tweets, Hariri pushed aside as "rumors" and a "lie" experiences he was once detained or avoided from leaving the dominion. In an extraordinary English tweet, Hariri named German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel when saying that he was once heading to the airport in Saudi Arabia. He apparently singled out the highest German diplomat because he had criticized meddling in Lebanon's affairs.

"To say that I am held up in Saudi Arabia and not allowed to leave the country is a lie," Hariri said. ``I am on tips on how to the airport Mr. Sigmar Gabriel."

Before heading to the airport, Hariri met with the Saudi Crown Prince and different senior officials, in keeping with a member of Hariri's political party and two Lebanese tv stations. Local TV stations also reported that he was once leaving Saudi Arabia.

He is anticipated to arrive in Paris noon Saturday.

French President Emmanuel Macron said Hariri shall be gained ``with the honors due a major minister," even if he has announced his resignation, since Lebanon hasn't but known it.

Hariri's televised Nov. 4 resignation from Riyadh stunned the Lebanese, many of whom saw it as a sign that the dominion — the top minister's leader ally — had determined to tug tiny Lebanon into the Sunni kingdom's feud with the area's different powerhouse, the predominantly Shiite Iran. He cited Iran and Hezbollah meddling in Arab nations, particularly Saudi Arabia. He also said he was once afraid for his life.

The marvel resignation sparked accusations, together with from Lebanese President Michel Aoun who accused Saudi Arabia of detaining him.

Saudi officials denied the experiences, including that Hariri was once an ally. But they railed against Hezbollah, the Lebanese militant staff backed by Iran, accusing the two of meddling in the area's affairs and backing anti-Saudi rebels in Yemen.

The move by Saudi-aligned Hariri raised considerations in a area already beset by war. Many feared Lebanon's subtle sectarian-based political system could be easily upended if the county is dragged into a struggle for regional supremacy between Saudi Arabia and Iran.

On Friday, Saudi Arabia's overseas minister said there shall be no balance in Lebanon unless the militant staff Hezbollah disarms."This is what we hope," Adel al-Jubeir said at a press convention in Madrid along with his Spanish counterpart.

It was once the second one day in a row that the Saudi minister railed against Hezbollah. On Thursday, he known as the group a "first-class terrorist organization" that are meant to lay down its arms and appreciate Lebanon's sovereignty. Saudi Arabia has already requested its nationals to leave Lebanon.

The Arab League is due to hold a gathering on Sunday in Cairo at Saudi Arabia's urging the place the Lebanon crisis and Iran's function in the area are anticipated to be mentioned. Many worry extra Saudi punitive movements against Lebanon is also planned.

Late Friday, Saudi Arabia's embassy in Lebanon said it was once intently following experiences of an attack on two Saudi ladies in Beirut. There was once no rapid security document of the incident. Hariri tweeted about it saying any attack on a Saudi national is an attack on him.

Hariri is a twin Lebanese-Saudi national. His circle of relatives has mostly lived in Riyadh.
"My stay in the kingdom is to consult about the future of Lebanon and its relation with its Arab environs," he tweeted earlier. ``All stories spreading about my sojourn and departure or that take care of the cases of my circle of relatives are merely rumors."

Macron, speaking at an EU summit in Goteborg, Sweden, said Hariri could stay in Paris for weeks should he make a choice.

Macron said that Hariri ``has the intention, I consider, of going to his nation in the days or weeks ahead," the first time a conceivable time-frame has been evoked.

It was once no longer clear what the intention of the French invitation was once. Hariri also has houses in France. Some viewed the French invite as an attempt to dispel experiences Hariri was once detained.

France, Lebanon's former colonial ruler, has been seeking to mediate the crisis and Macron invited Hariri and his circle of relatives to the country after his overseas minister met with Saudi King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman concerning the crisis.

Meanwhile, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Friday warned against overseas interference in Lebanese affairs following Hariri's resignation.
