BHUBANESWAR: The state assembly went without any business for the second one straight day on Wednesday over the issues of minimum give a boost to worth (MSP) of paddy and farmers' plight.

"Since they have failed to protect the farmers' interest, the BJD is trying to avoid the discussion," Purohit said challenging an all-party assembly to revive normalcy in the home.
In the evening, the speaker held assembly of the home committee on MSP to discuss its future course of action. Briefing reporters after the assembly, govt chief whip Amar Prasad Satpathy said whatever choices taken within the previous conferences of the committee would be positioned within the assembly.
