RAIPUR: Raipur court docket on Monday extended judicial remand of senior journalist Vinod Verma until December 11 who used to be arrested in connection with alleged blackmailing, extortion for possessing sex CDs of a Chhattisgarh minister.
It's for the second one time that the court docket has extended remand of former BBC journalist and member of Editor's Guild of India Vinod Verma.
The court docket comprising of judicial Justice of the Peace Bhavesh Kumar Watti extended judicial remand of Verma after his first remand ended on Monday and he used to be produced before the court docket.
Verma used to be arrested from his place of abode in Ghaziabad in wee hours on October 27 according to a grievance lodged via Prakash Bajaj alleging that Verma used to be blackmailing, and making extortion calls against unlock of a sex CD of his 'aka'.
Chhattisgarh Police arrested Verma and claimed to snatch 500 CDs from his place of abode.
