INDORE: Back in action after three-long years, two-time Olympic-medalist Sushil Kumar took not up to 3 minutes to bag a gold medal as 3 of his rivals gave him a walk over in men's 74kg freestyle competition of the National Wrestling championship on Friday.
Sushil battled for simply 2 minutes and 33 seconds in overall on the mat as he fought simplest two of his preliminary spherical bouts before 3 of his warring parties - in the quarterfinal, semifinal and ultimate - gave him a walk over.
Meanwhile, India's lone girl Olympic medal winner Sakshi Malik and popular 'Dangal woman' Geeta Phogat also bagged a gold medal each and every in their respective weight classes of ladies's wrestling on the second day of the marquee home tournament.
Geeta beat Ravita in the ultimate of the 59 kg class.
Sakshi finished on the top of the podium after posting a dominating 10-0 victory over Pooja of Haryana in women's 62kg, whilst Geeta also clinched the yellow steel
Even Geeta's husband Pawan Kumar also controlled to finish on top in 86kg.
