CALANGUTE: Salam Mandal, a native of West Bengal, used to be arrested by Calangute police with 150g of ganja value Rs 15,000 all over a raid conducted overdue on Friday evening.
Calangute PI Jivba Dalvi stated they gained a tip-off that a drug peddler used to be transferring around in Agarvaddo, Calangute, with medication for sale, following which they conducted a raid and nabbed him.
Salam, 32, has been charged underneath Section 20 (b) (ii) (a) of the NDPS Act.
