ALLAHABAD: A day after a special court docket acquitted all the accused within the alleged 2G scam, Congress Working Committee (CWC) member and previous Union minister Anil Shashtri stated on Friday stated BJP has been exposed for its untruth and propaganda towards Congress.
He demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi, finance minister Arun Jaitley and previous CAG Vinod Rai should apologise to the country. He claimed that BJP and Modi had spoken lies and propaganda to win 2014 Parliamentary elections.
Shastri stated that Modi needn't apologise for his remarks on former PM Manmohan Singh and can simply withdraw his arguable statement in Parliament by way of saying that he had merely performed a stunt to win the Gujarat polls.
UPCC spokesman Kishore Varshney demanded resignation of Modi and Jaitley and motion towards Rai.
