Tirupur: A 45-year-old man was arrested for sexually harassing a seven-year-old girl within the town on Thursday.
The arrested was recognized as Subramani of Palavanchipalayam, who works in a nearby garment production unit.
According to police, a woman from his neighbourhood used to visit his home regularly to play along with his kids.
Subramani, they stated, also used to take the lady, a Class I scholar, to his house regularly. "After visiting his house, the girl used to complain about body pain. Her parents later found that Subramani had sexually misbehaved with her," the police stated.
