GURGAON: A 19-year-old boy has been arrested and police are on the lookout for two others after a teenage woman was once allegedly kidnapped from a marriage serve as and raped via three, together with two minors, in Sahajawas village on Saturday. The trio allegedly sedated her with cold drink laced with drugs and took her to a deserted box where they raped her.
Vinay Singh, a resident of Rithoj village and a student of Class 10, was once arrested on Thursday. He was once produced sooner than a city courtroom on Friday and sent to judicial custody.
According to police, the crime happened on Saturday around 3.30am in Sahajawas village near Sohna, where the minor woman was once attending a family marriage serve as. The three accused had been also attending the serve as and had been allegedly trailing the girl.
Police stated that the trio offered the girl a glass of cold drink that made her dizzy and when she went out of doors the tent where the wedding was once being held, the lads nabbed her. They allegedly dragged her to a secluded room in a nearby box and raped her there. The woman fell unconscious and the accused fled the spot. However, the girl came to her senses an hour later and raised an alarm. The police had been informed and the girl was once rushed to a personal health facility.
On the grievance of the brother, an FIR was once registered against the 3 youths below sections 328 (causing hurt by way of poison), 363 (abduction), 379-A (snatching) of IPC and Section 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual offences (POCSO) Act at Bhondsi police station.
The woman was once produced in a city courtroom where her observation was once recorded below Section 164 of CrPC.
"The main accused has been arrested and sent to jail by a city court today. We are verifying the facts and trying to identify the others. Further action will be taken as per law," stated inspector Umesh Kumar, SHO, Bhondsi police station.
