Hubballi: While outstanding resorts, bars and restaurants are giving final touches to the birthday celebration tonight, police have initiated measures to ensure non violent New Year celebrations across the twin towns.

Police resources stated that partying is allowed till 1am. Hubballi-Dharwad police commissioner M N Nagaraj stated that liquor might be served till 11pm, the stipulated time as in line with the license terms and conditions. Warning that violators will probably be prosecuted, he stated, "Police deployment will be made across the city to see that no untoward incident takes place. People can celebrate peacefully without disturbing anyone. Parties in hotels should end by 1am. Those who indulge in peace disturbing activities will be prosecuted," he warned.


Police have issued sure condition and requested resorts to put in additional CCTV cameras with ok safety on the birthday celebration venue. Instruction of police group of workers should be obeyed. Information on performers at occasions should be provided to the police station concerned. Display of obscene and provocative posters, banners and forums is unlawful. There should not be any disturbance to the movement of site visitors. Sectors for couples and households should be arranged. There could also be a ban on DJ speakers above 55 decibels. Fire safety measures should also be made in position. Organizing public occasions without prior permission from police is against the law. Use of defective silencers in motorbikes could also be prohibited.


While the public are making preparations for the birthday celebration, resorts are organizing occasions. Arun Savadatti, supervisor, Hotel Denissons, stated that Ravi Shukla, the winner of television display "Star Voice of India", will enthrall guests on the birthday celebration. "Dance, VDJ and DJ will be the part of the party which will begin at 8 pm. Prizes will also be distributed among the best couple, best dancer, best kids and best female dancer," he stated.


Satish H, gross sales supervisor at Naveen Hotel, stated that DJs from Goa and dancers from Bengaluru will entertain on the tournament. "A live instrumental band will also perform. Various delicacies and liquor will be served," he stated.
