Hubballi: Residents of Heggeri, Maruti Nagar and Netaji Colony say that they have been receiving ingesting water in taps infected with sewage for the previous many months. On Thursday, the citizens showed the tainted water to a few journalists who visited the world.
Ramu Savanar, president, Heggeri Maruti Nagar unit of Jai Bheem Yuvaka Mandala, advised TOI that many people within the spaces are deficient. "Due to the leakage in pipeline in an unknown place, water is being contaminated with sewage. Though we have complained many times to the HDMC officials, no action has been taken," he alleged.
Water is launched as soon as in eight days and other people should not have bins to store water, mentioned Savanar.
The citizens worry that water-borne sicknesses may have an effect on them.
