KANPUR: An independent candidate, who is expounded to brother of President Ram Nath Kovind and had contested for the post of chairperson on Jhinjhak nagar palika seat of Kanpur Dehat district, has misplaced the elections.
Deepa is the spouse of Pankaj, who is the son of President's elder brother Pyarelal, and lives in Jhinjhak. She was once in the fray as independent.
Deepa had sought a ticket from the BJP but a survey had discovered that every other candidate, Sarojani Devi, enjoyed the strengthen of the people and was once given the ticket. Deepa misplaced by way of an enormous margin to BSP's Sarojini Devi Sankhwar. BJPs Sarojani Devi Kori adopted at second position.
