TIRUPUR: A senior citizen and his wife have been discovered useless with their throats slit, near Veeranampalayam in Tirupur district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday.
Police known the deceased as C Palanisami, 65, and his wife Kannammal, 57. They have been staying alone in their farmhouse in Neelakattuthottam near Veeranampalayam. The couple's son and daughter, who're married, are living in different places.
Some villagers discovered the bodies of Palanisami and Kannammal and informed the Kangeyam police.
The police sent the bodies to the Tirupur Government Hospital for postmortem.
Apparently, no valuables have been stolen from the home, the police mentioned.
Further investigations have been on.
