SRINAGAR: The counter-operation launched via safety forces in opposition to the terrorists who attacked a CRPF camp in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir ended on Monday following the restoration of the frame of any other terrorist, the police mentioned.
Finally, the operation has concluded with the restoration of the frame of the 3rd terrorist, director basic of police S P Vaid mentioned. The bodies of two terrorists have been recovered the previous day.
In a pre-dawn strike, five CRPF males were killed while three others injured when closely armed terrorists stormed the camp of the paramilitary power at Lethpora in Pulwama district the previous day.
The assault was once claimed via Pakistan-based outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed.
The two ultras whose bodies were recovered the previous day were Manzoor Ahmad Baba from Drubgam (Pulwama) and Fardeen Ahmad Khanday from Nazeempora (Tral). Khanday was once the son a serving policeman. The identification of the 3rd was once yet to be ascertained.
