Hubballi: The Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), which has contributors in 24 districts and head administrative center in Hubballi, has planned 29 tasks for 2018.
Speaking to journalists right here on Wednesday, KCCI president V P Linganagoudar informed that the first section of building of everlasting exhibition centre is already entire. He mentioned that KCCI will means the federal government, in the hunt for grants for the second section. "As a result of our demand, the Union government has sought details of possible forest damage to the Hubballi-Ankola railway line project. We will hold an interaction with railway officials to put our demands of various railway projects and lines that can lead the state and north Karnataka region towards further development," he mentioned.
Linganagoudar mentioned that the KCCI has been concerned within the Smart City initiative in Hubballi-Dharwad and can urge the Centre to sanction further funds to expedite the undertaking. "As of now, the Union government has sanctioned Rs 4.60 crore out of the reserved funds of Rs 269 crore. We will also pressurize the government to conclude the BRTS project at the earliest. We will put all efforts to get flyovers at Channamma Circle in Hubballi and Jubilee Circle in Dharwad constructed," he mentioned.
The KCCI president mentioned that north Karnataka is lagging behind in building and the KCCI will work with the federal government to get rid of regional imbalance.
Vice presidents Mahendra Laddad, Ashok Tolanavar and G K Adappagoudar mentioned that KCCI has recognized problems associated with agriculture, industry and infrastructure sectors. "The Uttar Pradesh government has cancelled the APMC cess, which is not necessary after the introduction of GST. We will urge the state government to follow the decision of UP government," they mentioned.
Other administrative center bearers Vinay Javali, Ashok Gadad, former KCCI presidents Shankranna Munavalli, Vasant Ladawa and others had been provide within the information conference.
