Leaders pay homage to Sharath Prabhu

Tirupur: The ultimate rites of Dr S Sharath Prabhu have been carried out within the presence of politicians and pupil associations, besides his family and kin, right here on Friday. The medico, who was once pursuing a post-graduate course, was once discovered dead in his New Delhi place of abode on Wednesday.
All opposition events have referred to as for a two-hour bandh on January 23 to pay homage to the medico. The Students Federation of India has planned a starvation strike on Saturday in quest of a solution to deaths of Sharath Prabhu and Saravanan Ganesan, an AIIMS pupil from Tirupur who was once discovered dead in New Delhi last year.

The members of the family took the body of Sharath Prabhu in a procession on Friday morning to the burial ground on ABT Road at Karuvampalayam.


Former DMK mayor Ok Selvaraj, Kongunadu Makkal Desiya Katchi leader E R Easwaran and contributors of the Dravida Manavar Viduthalai Kazhagam and the Students Federation of India took section within the procession.


P Selvamani, father of Sharath Prabhu, kept repeating that his son could by no means devote suicide and suggested the visiting leaders to lend a hand unearth the real explanation why in the back of the demise. He produced photos which confirmed wounds on the body of Sharath Prabhu.


Radhakrishnan promised to boost the issue with the state executive.
