HUBBALLI: The citizens of Old Hubballi and Jungleepet Kalmeshwar Nagar staged a protest in entrance of the Mini Vidhana Soudha on Monday to lift their objection to the abandonment of road repair paintings of their spaces.
The citizens steered the assistant commissioner to begin action to finish the paintings at the earliest. The protesters said that while carrying out tarring paintings, the road has been damaged significantly.
The protesters complained that the unfinished paintings has ended in dust threat which is inconveniencing folks of those spaces. The citizens also face safety issues as a chamber used to be dug, but not crammed utterly. The protesters said they had been assured of fixing the issue after a demonstration a month in the past. The road paintings has been deserted since three months.
Shivanandappa Hosur, Shekhanna Kallimath and Manjunath Kulkarni led the protest.
