NEW DELHI: The govt has decided to rent IT mavens from premier public and private institutes, together with IITs, to help battle new age crimes like online fraud, hacking, identity theft, dark net, trafficking, kid pornography, online radicalisation and cyber-terrorism and get ready a roadmap for Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, also referred to as I4C.
The IT security mavens, moral hackers, internet analysts and pc programmers will devise tactics of online cyber-crime reporting and tracking; putting in place of cyber-forensic units; coordination and steerage for states; capability development of police; analysis and building; easiest practices; and awareness advent at I4C, a brainchild of the house ministry.
