Trump reveals winners of  'Fake News Awards'

WASHINGTON: Donald Trump unveiled the winners of his much-touted "Fake News Awards" overdue Wednesday, escalating his already continual attacks on a variety of major US media shops.
The awards dropped hours after a senator from Trump's own Republican celebration hurled a stinging rebuke on the president, accusing the US chief of undermining the unfastened press with Stalinist language.

The brash Republican president introduced the ten "honorees" the use of his preferred medium of Twitter, linking to a listing published on the Republican Party's website that crashed mins after his big expose.

The "winners" of the spoof awards integrated top networks and newspapers CNN, The New York Times and The Washington Post, all of that have been regular targets of Trump's ire.
