Coimbatore: Unidentified men broke into the house of a teacher couple in Sivananda Colony within the city and took away 15 sovereigns of gold jewelry on Friday.
Police stated space proprietor Ramakrishnan, a professor at a private faculty and his spouse Sujatha, a school teacher, had locked thee space at Valluvar Street in Sivananda Colony prior to leaving for paintings within the morning. “When Sujatha returned within the night, she used to be stunned to find the back door of the house broken. She found that the bureau inside of used to be also broken open and gold jewelry missing,” a police officer stated.
Sujatha alerted her husband, who rushed home and informed the police.
The officer stated stated that they have got picked up fingerprints from the house, suspected to be that of the burglars.
