After an elaborate engagement rite closing week, 'Galliyan' singer Ankit Tiwari finally were given married to software engineer Pallavi Shukla on Friday. The wedding ceremony was once organised at a popular five-star resort within the town. Ankit’s baraat assembled at Civil Lines and proceeded to the wedding venue. Going traditional, Ankit chose a bagghi over a luxurious automotive for his baraat. "Bahut lambe samay se meri wedding ki reports media mein aati rahi hain. Aaj dekhiye meri shaadi sach mein ho rahi hai," Ankit laughed out loud as he spoke to us.

Dancing within the baraat had been Ankit’s close friends, TV actor Shraman Jain and type Helena, who got here from Mumbai particularly for the wedding. "Ankit is my closest buddy and I had to be here for his wedding. Bahut samay baad kisi baraat mein main itna naacha hoon," said Shraman.
Dressed in a golden and maroon sherwani, Ankit also enjoyed the dance efficiency of his friends and family within the baraat. He whistled loudly as his folks RK Tiwari and Suman also shook a leg of their younger son’s baraat.

"Mujhe dance karna bilkul bhi nahi aata par aaj Ankit ki shaadi hai toh dance karna toh banta hi hai," said Ankit’s elder brother Ankur, who was once given a company within the thumkas by spouse Swati.
Meanwhile, Pallavi looked beautiful in an orange and pink lehenga as she walked in for the jaimaal rite. The celebrations reached its top when the newlyweds also were given on to the dance ground and danced to 'Sanam Re' and 'Dil Chori Ho Gaya'.
The reception can be held in Kanpur day after today and the couple plans on hosting every other one in Mumbai later.
