GUWAHATI: Congress MLA Sherman Ali was once suspended from the Assam meeting by means of the speaker on Friday for the day and was once removed by means of the marshal for refusing to obey the order.
During Zero hour, the MLA from Baghbar asked PWD minister Parimal Suklabaidya a question on the poor condition of a bridge in his constituency.
The minister answered to the question but Ali was once not happy and a controversy between them followed. Speaker Hitendranath Goswami then dominated that no additional discussion can be allowed.
He repeatedly asked the Congress MLA to forestall and sit down but he persevered to argue.
The speaker then suspended the MLA for the day and asked him to depart the House but he refused, following which marshals had been known as and he was once removed forcibly.
Ali later advised reporters out of doors the House that his suspension mirrored the undemocratic angle of the current executive.
