Hubballi: Aam Aadmi Party leader and activist Santosh Nargund has alleged that the Congress and BJP are duping voters of the twin towns via placing up misleading hoardings.
The two parties have spent lakhs of rupees to convey false facts or hopes to the folks, he advised reporters here on Thursday. "Former CM and Hubballi-Dharwad Central MLA Jagadish Shettar's hoardings claim that all the roads in Hubballi have velvet surface. He is just talking about funds allocated or spent. First of all, new road are not repaired or constructed. The quality of roads is of third rate," he said.
"If Shettar had really done good work and ensured that good roads are constructed in Hubballi-Dharwad in his tenure as MLA, minister and chief minister in the past 28 years, he would not need the support of hoardings to propagate falsehood," he said.
Nargund, who is most likely to be the AAP candidate, criticized Congress price ticket aspirant Nagaraj Chabbi. "What has his party done in the past five years to prevent dust, accidents and address health problems in the twin cities?" he requested.
AAP district convener Basavaraj Mudigoudar and district co-convener Vivekananda Salins had been provide in the news conference.
