NEW DELHI: The Delhi HC requested the President's secretariat on Wednesday to give away to the Central Information Commission if it ever objected to a proposed high upward thrust rental complex being constructed near the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The courtroom commentary got here while casting off the secretariat's plea difficult the CIC's path to disclose if it had raised any security considerations in regards to the construction. HC mentioned since the secretariat has admitted that it raised security considerations, "there was no occasion" for it to deny disclosure of the tips to CIC.


Justice Vibhu Bakhru, clarified that if any enter was gained from security agencies on the issue, it need not be disclosed till the CIC showed the presence of corruption attitude within the case.


According to a news report in March, 2014, 23 acre land was got via a personal entity near the Rashtrapati Bhavan, allegedly at a price less than the market fee. BJP MP Subramanian Swamy had sought a SIT probe into the development.
