Those that require inspection and consideration will be scrutinised by the officials once more and then added to the draft," said an official.

The delimitation draft will later be sent to district collector T N Hariharan who will ahead it to the state delimitation committee.

The corporation has submitted the delimitation draft, by which town's 100 wards will probably be redrawn, to the district collector. While the choice of wards has no longer been greater, smaller wards had been clubbed together and larger wards had been divided into two or 3 wards to make certain that the inhabitants of each ward does no longer exceed 15,000.

The limitations of the present 100 wards that are divided into five zones had been redrawn. Currently, the exercise is being done in keeping with the inhabitants of Coimbatore as consistent with 2011 census which is 15,84,719. So, each ward could have a minimum inhabitants of 15,847 with a most deviation of 10%.
