Coimbatore: An 18-yeaer-old engineering pupil dedicated suicide via putting in his hostel room right here on Tuesday.
The victim, M Sabarinathan from Singampunari in Sivaganga district, was once a primary 12 months Electronics and Communication Engineering pupil in a personal faculty at Thirumalayampalayam.
"He was depressed after he failed in five out of eight papers in a recent exam. He had called his mother on Tuesday and told her that he found it difficult to go on with the studies. When his mother called him back, he did not answer," a supply from the school stated.
Police despatched the frame to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for postmortem.
Meanwhile, about 100 scholars of the school protested in front of the school hostel hard a copy of the FIR. TNN
