NEW DELHI: The Central Statistics Office on Wednesday revised the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) expansion charge for 2015-16 to 8.2 consistent with cent from the earlier estimates of 8 consistent with cent and stored the 2016-17 expansion unchanged at 7.1 consistent with cent.
The actual GDP or GDP at constant (2011-12) costs for the years 2016-17 and 2015-16 stands at Rs 121.96 lakh crore and Rs 113.86 lakh crore respectively, appearing expansion of seven.1 consistent with cent throughout 2016-17 and 8.2 consistent with cent throughout 2015-16, the CSO stated in a statement.
In terms of actual GVA (gross price added), it stated the GVA at constant (2011-12) elementary costs grew 7.1 consistent with cent in 2016- 17, as against a expansion of 8.1 consistent with cent in 2015-16.
According to advance GDP estimates of CSO, the GVA expansion on 2011-12 value was once estimated at 6.6 consistent with cent for 2016-17.
