Allahabad: The Allahabad prime court has directed that former BSP Rajya Sabha MP Narendra Kashyap and his wife Devendri Kashyap be released on bail in the dowry death case in their daughter-in-law.
Both Kashyap and his wife had filed an enchantment sooner than the prime court difficult the sentence awarded to them via the classes court in Ghaziabad for committing an offence of abetment to devote suicide beneath Section 306 of the IPC.
Justice Vijay Laxmi, whilst directing their liberate on bail, noticed: “After perusing the document in the light of the submissions made via the counsel, bearing in mind all the facts and instances and without expressing any opinion at the deserves of the case, this court is of the view that the appellants could also be enlarged on bail throughout pendency of the enchantment.”
Kashyap’s daughter-in-law was found useless on April 6, 2016. Her in-laws claimed that she had committed suicide the usage of the revolver of her husband.
However, her folks and relatives had alleged that Himanshi was killed via Kashyap and his members of the family for the sake of dowry.
