Sources stated Mulchand had employed the others in operating the units.

The raid began around 6am and endured for 3 hours. The automobiles and gear seized included 3 earthmovers, two concrete grinders, an SUV, two bikes, 12 tractors, and four vans used for transporting the concrete.

Keshav Kumar, ADM (finance and income) of Gautam Budh Nagar, stated the management had won a tip-off about concrete-mixing units working illegally within the two villages alongside the floodplains.

“The crew that conducted the raid included officials from the departments of irrigation, income, air pollution keep an eye on, sand mining and the Expressway police station. The police crew arrested nine persons concerned within the illegal units,” he stated.

Three of the accused — Satish, Manish and Sujeet – claimed they had been picked up randomly whilst they have been on their method to relieve themselves early within the morning.

The two other accused also claimed they weren't a part of the illegal factories.

The police, then again, stated they have been making excuses.
