Peace along International Border with Pak since January 23-24: BSF

INDORE: No incident of ceasefire violation by means of Pakistan at the International Border has come to gentle in over per week in the areas guarded by means of the BSF, the pressure's Director General K K Sharma said on Friday.
However, any misadventure by means of the neighbouring country will get a befitting reply from the paramilitary pressure which has been deployed along the border, he warned.

Speaking to journalists here, Sharma said there was peace in the areas along the International Border since January 23-24, where the BSF is deployed.


"No incident of ceasefire violation from Pakistan side has been reported in this area of late," Sharma said.


On January 25, there was a flag-meeting on the request of the Pakistan Rangers and each side made up our minds there would be no ceasefire violation at the International Border, the top authentic said.


He additionally said the BSF is ready to face any situation at the border and if Pakistan indulges in any misadventure it might get a befitting reply.


Last month, there have been a number of circumstances of ceasefire violations by means of Pakistan.
