Hubballi: Leader of opposition Jagadish Shettar has demanded that Congress president Rahul Gandhi clear his stand over the long-standing Mahadayi water dispute.
He told reporters here on Saturday: “Rahul must convince Goa Congress leaders not to object to the release of water to Karnataka. Otherwise, it's going to be clear that Rahul is enjoying game within the water issue.”
Shettar mentioned that Rahul’s Karnataka excursion don't get advantages the Congress however the BJP. “The BJP has come to power in whichever the state he visited. This development will repeat in Karnataka too,” he mentioned.
