Silverton Towers’ papers scrapped, may lose licence

GURUGRAM: The division of town and country making plans (DTCP) has cancelled the final touch certificate of Silverton Towers, a commercial undertaking evolved via Sana Realtors in Sector 50, for non-compliance with construction and licence norms.

The division has also threatened to cancel the licence of the undertaking if the developer fails to abide via the provisions of legislation.

Cancelling the final touch certificate, the DTCP, in its order dated February 15, said it were spotted that the developer had no longer deposited requisite infrastructure augmentation price (IAC). “The financial institution warranty has lapsed and the developer has no longer submitted the details of its audited accounts as per the norm, despite repeated reminders since November 2015,” said the order issued via DTCP director TL Satyaprakash.

As TOI highlighted in its June eight, 2017, version, the developer used to be also accused of selling not unusual bogs as administrative center space in the undertaking. Yash Manoj Handa, a buyer, had filed a RTI plea with DTCP to get a duplicate of the construction plan. “I got a duplicate which showed that Silverton Towers had three not unusual bogs on each floor, while in reality there is just one in the entire construction,” he said.

Also, a grievance used to be filed on the CM Window in November 2017 in opposition to Silverton Tower for unlawful building. As per the grievance, the industrial undertaking has a sanctioned space of 12,468 sq. metre. But as per MCG data, it used to be paying assets tax for a constructed space of 19,130 sq. metre. Pankaj Gambhir, the director of Sana Realtors, didn't respond to calls from this reporter.
