HUBBALLI: Burglars struck the Sri Venkataramana Temple, profiting from its closure because of lunar eclipse, and made away with the 'hundi' close to Nrupatunga Betta here on Wednesday.
They locked the priest's space, positioned close to the temple, prior to breaking into the temple, said police.
The box used to be found 300m clear of the temple. The miscreants additionally made away with a CCTV camera and difficult disk.
