Shivamogga: The district administration has adopted strict and new measurers to verify smooth behavior of SSLC assessments at 82 centres unfold over six taluks of the district.
As many as 25,934 students will write the examination scheduled from March 23 till April 6. The number of girls and boys stands at 11,578 and 14,356, respectively. With 24, Shivamogga has the best possible number of centres, following through Sorab (7).
According to DDPI Muchhado, the centres have not been labeled as sensitive and hypersensitive, however have been fitted with CCTV cameras to avoid malpractice. Section 144 has been clamped in 200m radius across the centres. A cellular squad can also be on the prowl to test illegal actions.
“The administration has issued identification slips of different colors to room supervisors, boys dishing out water, and other examination personnel to identify individuals involved within the examination duty,” he added.
KSRTC will ply buses offering unfastened journeys to the candidates to the centres. The facility is expected to profit rural students living in distant puts from the centres.
