GURUGRAM: The department of town and country making plans (DTCP) on Wednesday slapped notices on six plot owners — all from Sushant Lok 2 — for violating building norms and making structural adjustments after receiving occupation certificates (OCs) below the self-certification scheme.
Officials claimed the action was aimed at checking misuse of the scheme that was launched in January to cut back the time for processing OC programs for residential homes in approved colonies as well as decrease pendency charges at the DTP office.

The six plot owners, who got OCs in January, were accused of creating adjustments in designs or structures after receiving OCs for their 60squareyard plots. They have both greater the bottom protection or made adjustments in designs in their homes or constructed additional flooring.


District town planner (DTP) RS Batth mentioned the dept came throughout anomalies in the six of 7 homes inspected lately. The owners were given 10 working days to document their replies. “If the replies are discovered to be unsatisfactory, the dept will revoke their OCs and initiate further action,” Batth maintained.


According to the principles, one can't make adjustments in the building after you have an OC, with out an approval from the dept.


The department launched the self-certification machine remaining month, disposing of the mandatory website online inspection ahead of granting an OC. Therefore, a plot owner can submit a declaration (self-certification) via his architect and the dept will factor an OC assuming that the applicant has followed all of the laws.
