AHMEDABAD: When the going will get difficult, the harsh will get going, goes the adage. Bhakti Thakkar (15) lived this adage as this class 10 scholar went to jot down her English language board examination hours after performing the final rites of her father.
Bhakti is the one kid of the Thakkars — a speech and listening to impaired couple Satish and Falguni. On Wednesday evening, Bhakti, a scholar of Divine Life School in Vasna, used to be learning for her checks at her space when her diabetic father suffered huge brain stroke.
The family rushed Satish to nearby Jivraj Mehta Hospital but he could now not be revived. Once his mortal stays were introduced again house and consigned to flames via none other than Bhakti herself, she expressed her need to look for the examination.
“It used to be Bhakti's father's dream to look her get excellent schooling and protected a task of a bank supervisor. Bhakti knew this and did not allow her grief to come back in the best way of pleasurable her father's dream. It used to be a brave step on her part and will set an instance for the society," stated her paternal uncle Ghanshyam Thakkar.
