ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad top court docket on Thursday adjourned till March 28 the listening to of a petition filed by means of Muslim spiritual preacher Zakir Naik challenging the April 30, 2010, order of the judicial magistrate X, Jhansi wherein he was summoned under Section 121 (waging war in opposition to the state) and other sections of Indian Penal Code and the following order of non-bailable warrant issued in opposition to him.

One Mudassir Ullah Khan had filed a criticism on January nine, 2008, prior to the manager judicial magistrate X, Jhansi, alleging that in a tv programme shown on Peace TV on January 21, 2006, Zakir Naik had participated in a spiritual dialogue with Shri Shri Ravi Shanker, the founder of 'Art of Living' basis, which was held at Bangalore. The applicant had hurt the spiritual sentiments of a selected group in the programme, it was alleged.
It was further alleged that the applicant had printed and allotted a pamphlet simply to incite hatred and ill-will amongst other communities.
Acting in this criticism, judicial magistrate, Jhansi had on April 30, 2010, summoned Zakir Naik prior to the court docket under Section 121 (waging war in opposition to the state) and other sections of Indian Penal Code. Hence, he filed the present petition prior to the top court docket challenging the stated order. Zakir Naik's suggest had taken the plea that the applicant is the president of Islamic Research Foundation, Mumbai, which clarifies Islamic viewpoints and clears misconceptions about Islam the usage of Quran, authentic Hadith (sayings of the Prophet).
