Anup Sahoo replaces Satyabrata Bhoi as DCP of Bhubaneswar

BHUBANESWAR: The state govt on Thursday appointed IPS officer Anup Sahoo as the deputy commissioner of police (Bhubaneswar). Sahoo - an SP-rank officer - changed Satyabrata Bhoi, who was promoted to the rank of deputy inspector-general (DIG).

An respectable observation released from the CMO said Bhoi was now DIG (north range). Sahoo was previous posted as the police chief of Bhadrak district. Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Ganjam, Berhampur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Deogarh, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Nabarangapur, Kandhamal and Dhenkanal police districts have were given new SPs, including 11 IPS officials.


The govt gave new postings to seven further director-generals (ADGs) of police. Senior IPS officer Arun Sarangi, who was special director (intelligence), has been posted as director of the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy. B Radhika, who served as ADG (special armed police), has been connected to the police headquarters. Manoj Chhabra has grow to be the brand new ADG of special armed police.
