BENGALURU: 11 other folks, including six youngsters and five men, suffered injuries on Friday in a nitrogen gas balloon blast that happened at Kaveripura in Srirangapatna taluk in Karnataka's Mandya district.
All the injured have been admitted to KR Hospital in Mysuru.
The balloon had been arranged to welcome Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
The staff from an advertising company had crammed the balloon with gas and have been doing trial at 4pm close to a residential space next to the Bengaluru-Mysuru highway when it exploded in air. The youngsters who have been staring at the balloon gained serious injuries. A kid, who used to be seriously injured, used to be being shifted to Kaveri Hospital.
