BJP to protest in Coimbatore on March 23 to condemn attacks on party functionaries

COIMBATORE: Alleging that there's lack of safety for its leaders in Tamil Nadu, BJP has determined to behavior a protest on March 23 in Coimbatore to sentence the attacks on celebration functionaries.


BJP state chief Tamilisai Sounderarajan, who visited Coimbatore after celebration leader CR Nandhakumar’s automobile was torched, informed journalists that the police have failed to provide protection to BJP leaders even after the recent attack at the celebration administrative center within the city. Visiting Nandhakumar’s house, she informed journalists that police must treat the incident as an try to homicide case. “In puts like Coimbatore, our cadres are not safe in any respect. Police have been aware that when the attack at the BJP administrative center, our administrative center bearers have been in danger. But no action was taken,” she said.


“We can not proceed to reside in worry. We will hang a protest on March 23 in Coimbatore to sentence such attacks,” she said.
