BWSSB to press 68 water tankers to quench Bengaluru's thirst

BENGALURU: With summer time taking over, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike officers led by way of town mayor R Sampath Raj and officers from the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board held meetings on Tuesday and announced a contingency plan to tackle ingesting water needs of the city.

Of the numerous measures to ensure right kind water supply, as many as 68 water tankers with filling stations at flooring degree reservoirs of the Water Board would be stored in a position to cater to water scarcity spaces. “Water scarcity spaces have been known in each and every department and service-station spaces. Senior officials of the Water Board will conduct intensive inspections to ensure water supply is undamaged,” stated Mayor.
