AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat top court on Wednesday mentioned that the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) should pay repayment to people who maintain injuries in injuries caused via damaged town roads. A bench of Justice M R Shah and Justice A Y Kogje made the commentary in line with a letter from Reenaba Waghela, which complained about injuries caused via such roads. In the letter sent to the HC closing month, she complained that her husband Hitendrasinh fell from a two-wheeler in Vastrapur and sustained critical head injuries. She also complained that the circle of relatives is in dire financial scenario as the expenditure incurred on her husband’s treatment is around Rs 30 lakh. She demanded stern motion against the ones accountable for poor roads.
